If you want to learn Portuguese and enjoy the process, I recommend you take lessons with Vlad.  While it can be challenging to learn a language, he creates a comfortable and safe space to do so. He is careful to plan individualized sessions that will address your goals, needs, and learning style. He's flexible, patient and kind, and he consistently evaluates our goals and progress. On top of all of these qualities, he frequently goes the extra mile.  He has sent me books from Brazil that I can't get in California, and even helped me organize a trip with a group of friends (all teachers) to Salvador, Bahia. I've been learning Portuguese with Best Way for some months now and I couldn't recommend it enough.
